Tax and Risk Manager - Energy

One of Ireland’s largest and fastest-growing utility companies, with 300,000+ customers and big plans for continued expansion in 2025 and beyond, is looking to hire a Tax and Risk Manager.

They seek a Tax and Risk Manager to join their senior finance team. This newly created role reports directly to the Group CFO and will be central to shaping our tax, risk, audit, and treasury frameworks as they scale.

What you'll do:

• Own tax compliance, audit, and treasury policy implementation
• Lead financial risk management and support regulatory reporting
• Partner with senior leadership on strategic finance and governance matters
• Build a robust settlement and controls framework to support trading and finance ops

Experience:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 5+ years’ PQE
• Strong tax compliance and audit experience (CTA a plus)
• Sharp analytical mind, commercially aware, and a proactive problem solver
